Impala

Impala are very common antelope in the lowveld but they are also one of the most superbly adapted species in the area. Impala typically inhabit ecotone regions (the transitional zone between two types of habitat, in this case between grassland and woodland).

Food Impala are adapted and are mixed feeders. They browse leaves, graze grass, and also eat fruits and flowers
Predators Most large to medium carnivores, baboons, pythons, large bird of prey take young lambs
