The Kruger National Park has been part of my life since I could even remember. Early morings usually ending with my dad starting the car and all of us rushing not to miss the days outing. We lived about an hour from Phalaborwa gate. I always got the middle seat, so when we had a sighting I had to climb over everyone to have a good look. It was that longing that got me to the window seat, the front seat of the game viewer.

I am Eugene Booysen, the guide and owner of Eugene Safaris. I'm a passionate safari guide and birding enthusiast and over the years, working in many famous safari destiations have honed my guiding expertise and knowledge in the safari industry. Growing up near South Africa's famous Kruger National Park, I've always felt a deep connection to the natural world. I embody expertise and professionalism in the field, understanding the importance of adhering to ethics. My time hasn't only been spent getting to know the natural kingdom; I'm also a videographer and photographer. So, rest assured, you'll be in great hands with me, on safari in Kruger National Park.
Why Kruger National Park
Why do I choose to do safaris in Kruger National Park? It is one of the best safari destinations in Africa to spot the big 5 and is not too expensive. There are many great National parks throughout Africa, and having travelled to many of them myself, Kruger still hits differently. For first time safari goers and even aged safari goers, the Krugers infrastructure makes safari comfortable and safe.
